July 2006 edition - Retraction and reprint to information contained in the article titles "Unclassified employees, you have rights, too".  In the original published document, we have noted an error in addressing notice of termination (page 7).  The article incorrectly identified the Public Service Act as the legislation which obligates the employer to provide 16 weeks notice or pay in lieu for unclassified employees with 12 months or more of unbroken service.  The governing body mandating 16 weeks notice is actually the Employment Standards Act.  Apologies for any inconvenience.  - The Editor
